Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED
• Experience: 1 year of clinical practice experience
• Certification: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) and Certified Medical Assistant on start

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care, checks schedules, records vitals, accompanies patients to exam/procedure rooms, assists physicians/nurses, prepares patients for examination and treatment, communicates instructions to patients/families, answers calls and provides information.
• Pre-visiting planning for vulnerable population.
• Clerical duties: medical records, lab/x-ray reports, forms, requisitions, organizes charts and supplies.
• Environmental duties: cleaning rooms, restocking, proper waste disposal, sterile techniques, PPE, equipment checks.
• Participates in clinic huddles and quality improvement initiatives.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
• Education: High School or GED
• Experience: 1 year of clinical practice experience
• Certification: Basic Life Support (AHA) and CMA on start
