Advocate Health Care in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced CMA/RMA-certified Medical Assistant for the Virtual Health team. You will interview patients, record medical information, measure vital signs, and update allergies and medications at each visit.

You will perform CLIA-waived tests and POCT, maintain quality control, and support the care team while mentoring junior staff. This is a 40-hour, full-time remote role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• BLS certification as per policy; maintain active status.
• Five years CMA/RMA experience or completion of Advocate CEU programs.
• Ability to perform CLIA-waived tests and POCT with proper safety.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients, record medical information, and measure vital signs.
• Update health maintenance data, allergies, and medications at visits.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests and point-of-care testing; ensure QC and documentation.
• Lead and train lower-level staff; work within the care team to plan treatment.
• Collect and log specimens; operate EMR as a super user; ensure test results are tracked.
