Advocate Health is seeking a Full-time CMA/RMA in Charlotte, NC for the School Based Medicine - Virtual Health department. The role entails patient interviews, vital signs, and in-office testing following CLIA standards, with opportunities to lead staff and manage EMR tasks.

You must have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and CMA/RMA credentials from recognized bodies. Comprehensive benefits and a 40-hour work week are provided.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.
• Maintain current CMA/RMA certification.
• Listed organizations include AAMA, NHA, NHCWA, NCCT, AMT, NAHP, NRMA, ARMA, and others.

Responsabilidades

• Exemplify caring and compassionate customer service to create an excellent patient experience.
• Interact with patients and families in sensitive situations with strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Interview and record patients' medical information and measure vital signs.
• Maintain health maintenance at visits and track medication changes and allergies.
• Adhere to standard precautions and regulatory standards.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests and in-office diagnostic testing per CLIA standards.
• Conduct Point of Care testing (POCT) and maintain in-office lab procedures.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Lead lower-level staff with direction and training.
• Collect, prepare, and log blood/tissue samples.
• Ensure tests are tracked and results communicated to the care team.
• Act as an EMR super user and maintain system proficiency.
• Complete required annual in-services and unit-based projects.
