Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification preferred or within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, document in EMR per guidelines.
• Perform basic tests/procedures, vaccines and spirometry as applicable.
• Support infection control, HIPAA, and safety policies.
• Mentor staff and support other departments as needed.
• Manage clinical inbox and coordinate care with team.
