Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams across East and North locations in Indianapolis. You will room patients, assist providers, manage patient messages and documentation, and help with front-office duties to ensure smooth clinic workflow.

The role requires CMA/CCMA-like credentials or completion of a Medical Assistant program, high-school diploma, and strong communication skills. OSHA/CLIA knowledge and basic math/data entry are expected.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy knowledge and clinical assisting skills required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant program required; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Managing patient messages and EMR records.
• Prepare exam rooms and support clinic workflow.
