Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant II for their General Surgery department in Manchester. The role supports providers with patient care, rooming, vital signs, documentation, and order processing in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The position requires CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred with BLS within 90 days of employment; 3–5 years of medical office experience is highly regarded, with a 8-hr daytime schedule and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of medical office experience for MA II (preferred)
• Experience in a clinical ambulatory care setting preferred
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Perform rooming, vital signs, and documentation
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as needed
• Administer medications and immunizations where appropriate
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Maintain supplies and par levels in clinical areas
