This position involves clinical and administrative duties involving patient care while adhering to practice standards. The role includes providing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, assisting in examinations and treatments, recording vital signs, and supporting clinical procedures such as urine cultures and pregnancy tests. Responsibilities also include preparing treatment rooms, performing clerical tasks, and supporting the efficient use of computer-based information systems.

Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
• Room patients, obtain health histories, and check vital signs
• Document patient care using electronic medical record software
• Perform phlebotomy, urinalysis, and handle patient specimen samples
• Administer medications and perform injections/immunizations
• Assist providers with minor in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing
