Job summary

Billings Clinic in Cody, Wyoming is seeking a Medical Assistant I with training provided. This full-time position supports patient care under supervision, prepares exam rooms, and coordinates scheduling and clerical tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

You will work with physicians, APPs, RNs and staff to meet patients' needs, document histories and vitals, and assist with minor procedures and vaccinations as required. Starting wage DOE ranges from $17.00 to $21.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification/testing may be pursued within 15 months of hire.
• Department-specific orientation and competencies are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of patient care and provide clerical support.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment and supplies per guidelines.
• Schedule appointments, tests, treatments and surgery; assist with registrations and copays.
• Screen calls for referrals and manage supplies and patient records.
• Document history and vital signs, assist with minor procedures and injections.
• Administer vaccines per standards and educate patients as directed.
