Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
• N‑95 mask fitting required if working or floating to Walk‑In Clinic.
• BLS (AHA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and manage patient inquiries.
• Update, file, and scan patient records and insurance forms.
• Code and fill out insurance forms and schedule appointments.
• Arrange admissions, procedures, and ancillary services as needed.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies; manage logs and checks.
• Take medical histories and explain procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers in exam rooms.
• Take vitals, draw blood, and prepare specimens when required.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document all data in charts.
• Ensure reports and labs are filed before appointments.
