Billings Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant I for the Clinic Float Pool (26 hours/week). Under general supervision, this role supports patient care and provides administrative assistance across departments in Billings, MT.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Completion of MA residency or certification within 12 months of hire.
• Medical Terminology, Medication History, and New Clinic Staff Class within 6 months and/or prior to testing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies based on patient needs.
• Assist with patient scheduling, registration, and co-pay collection as necessary.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist with minor procedures and physical exams with proper documentation.
• Label and collect laboratory specimens per clinic policies.
• Administer basic vaccines to eligible patients (≥18).
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA.
