CCI Health Services in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a Medical Assistant I to support pediatric and adult patients within the School Based Wellness Center. The role involves clinical and administrative duties under physician supervision, including phlebotomy, vital signs, EKGs, and patient education.

Strong emphasis on accuracy in billing and data entry. Expect a regular full-time schedule with salary between $21.00 and $24.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Must have current Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited school.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
• Spanish bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review eligibility for Care for Kids, Vaccine for Kids, and Montgomery Cares.
• Schedule and track patient visits; prepare documentation for care access.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect lab specimens.
• Record vital signs and history; assist with referrals.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and billing accuracy.
• Assist with administrative duties related to patient care.
