Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant I for our Carson Health Center. This full-time role supports both front and back-office functions, including testing, screening, and patient education in reproductive health care.

• Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate required.
• BLS Certification required or able to obtain within 30 days.
• 1–2 years clinical experience preferred.
• Availability to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide front and back office support in a clinical setting.
• Obtain medical history and vital signs; assist with exams.
• Educate patients on options and scheduling; maintain charts.
• Support phlebotomy, injections, and specimen handling.
• Assist nursing staff and clinicians as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety guidelines are followed.
