Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must complete a certified Medical Assistant program or MA certification.
• Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days.
• Basic clinical and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake.
• Ensure the appropriate information is available to the provider and enter pertinent history in the medical record.
• Perform and assist with clinical procedures in accordance with division/department responsibilities and protocol.
• Must be available to work Monday–Friday; hours as specified (including evenings and closing responsibilities).
