Job summary

The Nemours Foundation is seeking PRN Medical Assistants to support the Cast Room, coordinating patient flow and data collection for intake while ensuring complete information for the provider. The MA will perform clinical procedures and document pertinent history in the medical record under provider direction.

Roles MA I–III require varying experience and certifications (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA). The practice emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and adherence to protocol in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days.
• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program or MA certification required.
• Certifications CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA accepted.
• Basic clinical and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow by assisting in data collection for intake.
• Assist with clinical procedures as directed by the provider.
• Enter pertinent medical history into the medical record.
• Support MA team with administrative duties and quality initiatives.
