Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days.
• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program or MA certification required.
• Acceptable certifications CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA listed above.
• Basic clinical and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow by assisting in data collection and review for intake.
• Enter pertinent history in the medical record and ensure information is available to the provider.
• Assist with clinical procedures in accordance with protocols and department responsibilities.
• Support care team as liaison between patient/family and providers.
