Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.
• Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and record them in medical records.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment.
• Record medical history and test results in records.
• Perform general office duties (phones, dictation, insurance forms).
• Act as liaison with other departments and advocate for patients with good service.
• Collect specimens (blood, tissue) and prepare for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain supplies.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated items.
