Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a health care environment, preferably reproductive health.
• Ability to work under direct supervision in patient-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records and enter information into EHR systems.
• Assist with front desk tasks and scheduling.
• Obtain patient insurance information and verify coverage.
• Assess financial resources and eligibility for available programs.
• Record financial and billing transactions in the practice management system.
• Under supervision, dispense medications and supplies to patients.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests and collect vital signs.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist clinicians.
