Presbyterian Medical Group’s Socorro clinic is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant I or II to provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting.

The role offers a career ladder with MA I or II levels based on education and experience, plus growth opportunities and on-site wellness resources. Eligible personnel may receive shift differentials and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MA procedures within MA scope under supervision.
• Prepare patient for rooming and exam.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Perform suture/staple removal and dressing changes.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Provide basic patient education.
• Set up aseptic and sterile procedures.
• Assist with office-based procedures.
• Assist with foot care.
• Support care team to meet clinic needs.
• Participate in new hire MA orientation.
• May perform regulatory audits.
• Assist with visit closures.
• May perform scribe duties after PMG scribe training.
