AHA BLS is required, and MA program graduation is preferred for new hires after Oct 5, 2025. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable performance, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume clinic while adhering to OSHA/CLIA/ADA

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required.
• New hires after October 5th, 2025 must graduate from a Medical Assistant program.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
• TB validation within 6 months of hire may be required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory and medical procedures.
• Ability to perform accurate data collection and entry.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Managing patient messages.
• Scanning and maintaining medical records.
• Preparing exam rooms and supporting clinic workflow.
