Third Street Family Health Services in Mansfield, OH, is looking for a Medical Assistant I to join our Primary Care Team. You will work closely with medical and behavioral health providers to establish rapport with patients and support efficient, compassionate care in a collaborative care-team environment.

The role emphasizes ongoing learning, patient-centered communication, and taking ownership of tasks. You’ll assist with check-ins, vital signs, specimens, exams, and care coordination to help

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) required within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient check-in and check-out functions, updating demographic and insurance information as needed.
• Welcomes patients, prepares them for appointments, and communicates pertinent information to the care team.
• Obtains vital signs, collects specimens, assists with examinations and procedures, and maintains clinical rooms/equipment.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and assists with basic care coordination to support continuity of care.
• Collaborates with providers and care team members to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
