Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Las Vegas. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year MA experience, completion of a Medical Assistant program, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred MA certification/registration; phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferably Primary Care).
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where mandated.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam areas are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, administer injections as directed by Provider.
• Perform front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records following guidelines and notify provider of updated health information.
