Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in Las Vegas. You will support a primary care physician, perform clinical tasks, and assist with patient flow to ensure a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where state law applies.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate with labs for tests and with providers for plan of care.
• Handle front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination of care outside the clinic.
• Maintain accurate medical records and timely communication of test results.
