Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Cardiology Bradford HOPD in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time daytime role supports the clinical team with blood draws, POC testing and patient rooming, contributing to high-quality cardiovascular care.

Qualifying candidates have a high school diploma, completion of a medical assistant program, and BLS certification; CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA credentials are valued. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days.
• One of the following Required within 120 Days: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA.

Responsibilities

We are a comprehensive heart and vascular team that works collaboratively. We can care for patients who are early in their cardiovascular care or patients who are very ill and searching for advanced treatments. We are all about treating people equally and focus on positive things. We are people focused on helping patients. We value feedback from staff as that will help us be successful by gaining knowledge that staff have.

The HOPE Clinic is a very busy multidisciplinary clinic treating patients with advanced heart failure. The MA team is responsible for blood draws and POC testing as well as traditional patient rooming.
