Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or GED and completion of an MA training program.
• AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Must be able to support physicians, nurses and staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow through the clinic, prep exam rooms and obtain vital signs.
• Assist practitioners with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations and specimen collection as directed.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and monitor vaccine/medication inventory.
• Communicate with patients and care team to ensure smooth visits and safety.
• Perform delegated procedures safely according to protocols.
• Support opening/closing procedures and general clinic operations.
