Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, nurses, and other staff in a fast-paced clinic in Warrenville, IL. You will help maintain efficient patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and document vitals while performing routine procedures under supervision.

The role requires MA certification eligibility within six months, BLS/CPR, and solid computer skills. Ambulatory care experience is preferred, and the position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Candidate must meet eligibility requirements for one of the five MA certs within six months of hire.
• Must provide written proof of eligibility for CMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA/NRCMA.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong computer skills and basic data entry experience.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure efficient patient flow through the site and prepare exam rooms.
• Obtain accurate vital signs and document patient information.
• Assist with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived testing as directed.
• Stock and maintain exam rooms, disinfect equipment, and manage supplies.
• Support physicians and nursing staff and communicate with patients professionally.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and participate in staff meetings.
