Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians, nurses, and staff by improving patient flow and assisting with clinical and administrative tasks. The role emphasizes professionalism, patient confidentiality, and teamwork in a busy clinic setting.

The MA will prepare exam rooms, obtain vital signs, assist with procedures, and help maintain supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current certification in one of CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA or eligible with certification within six months.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient patient flow and prepare exam rooms.
• Assist practitioners with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations and related procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and inventory of vaccines/medications.
• Communicate with patients and care team to ensure quality service.
• Perform delegated procedures per specialty guidelines.
• Support supervisor/manager with additional duties as assigned.
