Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time position on the Lake Forest campus. The start time ranges from 7:45a to 8:30a and will require travel to the Glenview Outpatient facility.

Prior OB experience is a plus, and you will support physicians, nurses, and other licensed staff by facilitating patient flow and performing clinical and administrative tasks. This role offers comprehensive benefits, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain one of CMA/AMT/NCMA/NAHP/NRCMA/CCMA within six months of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification required by AHA.

Aufgaben

• Ensure efficient patient flow by escorting patients, taking vitals, and updating medical records.
• Assist with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived testing as directed.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms, disinfect and sterilize equipment, manage vaccine/medication inventory.
• Provide patient-friendly service and support to physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Perform delegated duties and participate in staff meetings and office opening/closing procedures.

Ausbildung

Certification eligibility within 6 months (CMA/AMT/NCMA/NRCMA/CCMA/NHA)
