Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patient care. You will perform phlebotomy, monitor vitals, administer medications and vaccines, and document in the electronic health record.

The role also includes essential front-office duties and collaboration with clinicians to support care delivery. Ideal candidates have 1+ year MA experience, CPR certification, and high school diploma or equivalent, with bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications and vaccines, perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, document in EHR, and support providers.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain exam rooms.
• Collaborate with clinicians within certification limits.

Now offering a $2,000 Bonus* for Medical Assistants who join our new Primary Care Clinics in Phoenix in 2026.

The Medical Assistant discusses symptoms, obtains vital signs, administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, collects specimens, conducts screening tests, sterilizes equipment, maintains exam rooms, documents in electronic records, and collaborates with providers within certification limits.

Required

• You will be Certified or Registered


• You will have Phlebotomy experience

• You will be CPR Certified


• You will be patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.

Ideal Candidate

• 1+ years MA experience in PCO center


• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience


• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communicationnication

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$44,900 - $60,200 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
