Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for patient care at our Maryvale clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, medication administration, and documenting in electronic records.

Ideal candidates have MA training or certification, CPR, 1+ year MA experience, and English/Spanish proficiency. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered for joining our Phoenix clinics in 2026.

Qualifications

• You will have completed an MA school/training program or be certified/registered as an MA or have 5+ years of experience with provider approval.
• You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification is required.
• You will be patient facing and will run TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Discusses symptoms, obtains vital signs, administers meds and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, collects specimens, conducts screening tests, and sterilizes equipment.
• Maintains exam rooms and documents in electronic records.
• Collaborates with providers within certification limits.

The Medical Assistant discusses symptoms, obtains vital signs, administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, collects specimens, conducts screening tests, sterilizes equipment, maintains exam rooms, documents in electronic records, and collaborates with providers within certification limits.

Required

• You will have complete a MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• You Will have a High school diploma or equivalent
• You will be CPR Certified
• You will be patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.

Ideal Candidate

• You will be Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina you require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
• You will have Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1+ years MA experience
• You will have value-based care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• You will have Bilingual proficient in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
