Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support busy clinics in Winfield, IL. You will greet patients, take vitals, assist physicians during exams and procedures, and help with registrations and chart updates.

The role includes performing on-site tests and maintaining clean, welcoming rooms to ensure a positive patient experience. Qualified candidates will have a Medical Assistant program or comparable health sciences education, an active MA certification, CPR, and prior clinic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or higher education in health sciences or related experience.
• Active MA certification through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA or AAMA.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2 years of medical office support experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with registration, scheduling, vitals and health history.
• Support physicians during exams, minor procedures and dressings.
• May assist with immunizations or injections when certified.
• Process prescriptions, respond to pharmacy calls, update charts and filings.
• Perform onsite labs (EKG, PFT, blood glucose, urine pregnancy tests).
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent care.
• Travel to assist other local clinics as needed.
