Job summary

Shriners Children's in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support clinic operations by performing clinical and clerical duties, including patient rooming, charting, assisting with minor procedures, supplies management, and Telehealth support when applicable.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, clinical competence, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure an optimal patient and family care experience.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and report data to assist the multidisciplinary team in the evaluation of patient needs.
• Performs a variety of comprehensive registration and scheduling functions.
• Demonstrate open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions.
