Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Indianapolis. You will support a primary care physician, deliver patient care, and provide an exceptional guest experience to patients.

You will handle clinical responsibilities and front desk duties, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation in the medical record, while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• MA certification or registration required where law requires it.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked and cleaned.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate with labs for additional tests and assist with medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
