Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience. They perform both front-desk duties and clinical tasks as part of our integrated care model.

This full-time role follows a Mon-Fri schedule with varied start times. Requirements include MA program completion, CPR/BLS, and certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• 1+ year experience in primary care preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and stock rooms.
• Review patient information and gather updated health data.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, assist procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Partner with the care team to develop patient plans.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals.
• Record data in medical records and communicate results.
• Support outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
