Job summary

Valley Cities is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a dedicated care team in Seattle. You will run full physical health screenings, support medication and injection appointments, and help close the loop between clients, providers and the broader care team.

Requirements include completing a Medical Assistant program and current MA certification plus CPR/BLS; phlebotomy certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days. The role emphasizes teamwork, community impact, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification and current CPR/BLS certification
• Phlebotomy certification, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Complete full medical screening for every client
• Draw labs per standing orders and assist with injection appointments
• Flag results for RN review and support care coordination for PCP appointments
• Conduct patient outreach including no-show follow-up, appointment reminders, and check-ins for clients not seen in 90 days
• Support your provider and multi-disciplinary teams, including the potential for cross site support
• Build collaborative and meaningful relationships with clients facing substance use disorder and psychiatric disorders.
