Job summary

The Primary Health Network is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to provide both clinical and front-office support at Sharon Medical Group Behavioral Health, 63 Pitt Street, Sharon PA 16146. Responsibilities include preparing patients, performing procedures, and coordinating scheduling and communication for a smooth patient experience.

Starting pay is $17 per hour. The role requires a Medical Assistant program completion or relevant direct patient-care experience, strong clinical skills, and

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an approved Medical Assistant program or have direct patient-care experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.
• Proficient computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits, including vital signs, height/weight, chief complaints, and medication review.
• Assist providers and nurses with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, injections, specimen collection, and routine testing per training.
• Prepare prescription refills under provider direction and assist with prior authorizations.
• Support patient scheduling, registration, phone communication, and other front-office tasks.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and support patient flow.
