Job summary

Pain Relief Solutions in Oceanside (CA) is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant who can also handle front desk duties. The role supports clinicians in a fast-paced Pain Management clinic and involves both clinical care and administrative tasks with travel between clinic locations.

You will manage EMR tasks, assist during patient visits, and ensure accurate documentation. A Medical Assistant program completion and CPR certification (or intent to obtain within 6 months) are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Medical Assistant experience.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

What You will Be Doing

Clinical Care

• Room patients and support providers during visits
• Manage EMR tasks (lab orders, charting, charges)
• Process prescription refills.
• Complete accurate patient documentation
• Respond to patient calls and concerns.

Administrative Support

• Complete accurate patient documentation
• Manage EMR tasks (lab orders, charting, charges)
• Respond to patient calls and concerns.
• Review and distribute incoming faxes.
• Processing Medical Record
  

• Request, scan, and manage medical records.
• Process referrals and maintain accurate patient data.

Scheduling

• Manage appointments (schedule/reschedule/cancellations)
• Keep provider schedules accurate and efficient.
• Educate patients on upcoming visits and procedures.

What You Bring

• 1+ year Medical Assistant experience
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
• Strong EMR and computer skills

• Travel to other clinic locations required.
