Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal MA program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required by state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam areas are clean and stocked.
• Review and update health information to inform the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, assist with procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations per written orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document data in the medical record per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate outcomes to patients.
• Assist outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
