Job summary

AFC Urgent Care in Naperville, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both Front Desk and Back Office teams. You will prepare charts, pull notes, and assist with routine patient care alongside providers and medical staff.

You will also help manage inventory, set up equipment, process lab reports, and keep patients informed about their care, with a focus on accuracy and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, and setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Checking in patients and verifying insurance.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
