Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both receptionist and clinical support.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and coordinating referrals. Minimum 1 year of MA experience required; completion of an MA program is expected, with certification/registration strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, and coordinating care outside the clinic.
• Document data in medical records and communicate results to patients as directed.
