Job summary

WelbeHealth, LLC. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and on‑site specialists in a WelbeHealth clinic.

The role combines front‑office and clinical duties, including preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, and assisting with procedures under physician supervision. The ideal candidate will have a certified Medical Assistant credential, at least two years’ experience with elderly patients, a two‑year MA degree, phlebotomy experience, and CPR/First Aid certification within 180 days

Qualifications

• Certification by a medical assistant certifying organization approved by the state medical board.
• Two (2) years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population.
• Two (2)-year degree program in medical assistance.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare participants for appointments, including setting up exam rooms, checking participants in and out, and obtaining an accurate history of illness.
• Perform required pre‑exam physical tests, such as measuring and documenting participants’ vital signs.
• Perform general medical procedures, such as dressing changes and suture removals, as directed and under supervision of a physician.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens as ordered, and perform routine sterilization procedures of medical and dental equipment.
• Maintain clinic logs and ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and prepped at all times
