Job summary

Marathon Health in Ohio is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA will support clinicians, perform vitals, blood draws, injections, and front-desk duties to ensure a seamless patient experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and adherence to safety guidelines; CPR/BLS certification is required, and phlebotomy experience is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and PTO to eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration strongly preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, administer injections.
• Assist with procedures and work with labs for tests.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordinating care.
