Job summary

STGi is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide services at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Tupelo, Mississippi. The candidate will perform clinical and administrative tasks necessary for patient care, supporting the Patient Aligned Care Team.

Responsibilities include patient check-in/out, documenting medical records, and assisting with medication administration. Applicants should have recent clinical experience and relevant certifications, including a Medical Assistant license in Mississippi.

Qualifications

• One to three years of current clinical experience in outpatient or similar environment.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and react in emergencies.
• Knowledge of specialized terminology used in Primary Care Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative medical care under supervision.
• Document patient information and manage medical records.
• Schedule patients for appointments and assist with follow-up care.
