Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide front and back office support in the Primary Care-Mescal clinic. The role involves escorting patients, maintaining exam rooms, and supporting clinicians with examinations and procedures.

The MA will handle phone scheduling, data entry, and basic lab duties while adhering to clinic policies and Arizona competencies. A sign-on bonus is offered and the work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program - Required
• High School Diploma or GED - Required
• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides general front and back office support to professional staff.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and maintains clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Maintains patient information and files paperwork correctly.
• Under provider direction, performs duties in examination and treatment of patients.
• Works in a team model to improve patient experience and access to care.
