Responsibilities

• Schedule and answer phones; verify insurance as needed
• Enter information for medication prior authorization applications
• Obtain insurance referrals
• Greet patients and collect vital signs and medical history
• Assist physicians, PAs, and NPs with exams and procedures
• Perform in-office diagnostic tests and blood draws (e.g., glucose, EKG)
• Administer injections and assist with medication management under supervision
• Handle prescription refills and lab result follow-ups
• Maintain accurate EMR and HIPAA compliance
• Keep the clinical area clean and organized
