These tasks require following clinical protocols, regulatory requirements and standards.Communication is key in this role; you will interact with patients, peers and all members of the health care team. You will also apply your clinical knowledge when answering patient phone calls and relaying messages for providers or nurses.This position also requires leadership skills as you will act as a resource and role model for Medical Assistants and Patient Service Coordinator teams.The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. Completion of a recognized MA program at an accredited college or university or worked 1 year as an MA to meet the requirements to become certified.Experience in the medical industry, including patient care or non-patient care roles.
