HSHS Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant Float for Effingham area clinics to support patient rooming, assessment, and room preparation. The role may involve reception duties and assisting with the business side of visits.

Ideal candidates will be patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers with MA program completion or equivalent experience, and be willing to travel to regional clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience may be considered in lieu of program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, conduct assessment, and prepare examination rooms.
• Coordinate care and assist with business-side tasks of visits.
• Assist in reception duties: greet patients and visitors.
• Support driving to other HSHS clinics as assigned.
