Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Virginia clinics to balance patient needs and support physicians across procedures, ensuring an excellent service experience.

The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, EMR documentation, and working in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Requires 2–5 years clinical experience and a high school diploma; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish & English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (some Saturdays)
• Locations: rotate between Chantilly, Fairfax, Vienna, Arlington, & Sterling clinics
• Compensation: $22-$26/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English preferred
