Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, manage patient interactions, and maintain an efficient clinic workflow across OH clinics and occasional Erie, PA travel. You will assist during procedures and ensure a welcoming environment for patients.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience, a Medical Assistant training background, and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred. Full-time, Monday–Friday with competitive hourly pay of $22–$27.

Qualifications

  • Must have 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role.
  • Experience performing vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program; CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient-facing customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
  • Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
  • Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Position Summary:

As aMedical Assistant,you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinics. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Position Details:
  • Location: This position works in our: Canfield, Canton, Fairlawn, Middleburg, OH clinics
  • This position also works in Erie, PA on Mondays (will receive mileage when traveling to Erie).
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
  • Compensation: $22-$27hr based on experience and qualifications.

  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
  • Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
  • 3+ years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
  • Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
