Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Float Team – SLPG to support multiple practices across the region. The role requires preparing patients, taking vitals, updating records, and coordinating with providers to ensure efficient visits.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably a Medical Assistant program; two years of similar healthcare experience and strong customer service are preferred. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary skillset and collaboration with Care Team.
• Customer service experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, take vitals and update medical records.
• Complete pre-charting of value-based measures and coordinate with providers.
• Assist with patient education and care coordination across the Care Team.
• Travel to SLPG practices within assigned region as needed.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and proper disposal of biohazards.
• Support administrative tasks such as check-in/check-out and scheduling.
