The Float Medical Assistant is the first point of contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative duties in addition to patient care.
The Float Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically, it works on semi-routine assignments.
Please note: This is a FLOAT position and will require you to work between offices in the Charlotte, NC area as business needs require. Your home clinic is 3512 Wilkinson Blvd., Ste 130, Charlotte, NC. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between clinics.

The Float Medical Assistant performs clinical duties such as discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, collecting specimens, performing diagnostic screening tests, sterilizing/cleaning equipment, maintaining examination rooms, and documenting information into the electronic medical records system.

Pay Range
The estimated starting pay for full-time employment (40 hours/week) is $40,000 - $52,300 annually, depending on location and experience.
